What do I
wear and bring?
As you will be walking in the bush it is essential for your safety that you wear closed footwear.
Bring camera, film, sunscreen, hat and insect repellent. Water is included in the cost of the tour.
Is the tour suitable for children?
Yes! It’s a
great tour for all the family. But there are some points to bear in mind.
-
For young children the Great Emu Tour is probably more suitable, as it’s of shorter duration.
-
For safety reasons, we don’t permit infants‘ in arms’ on the tour. We can, however, supply a baby carrier for the duration
of the tour at no extra charge. If you would like to use this, please let us know when booking.
-
For tours ex-Cooktown, children under 4 years old requiring a seat in the vehicle will be charged at the 4-13 yrs child rate.
Please note that parents/carers are responsible for their children’s safety on the tour, and for ensuring that children stay with the
group and do not wander off the walking track. We would also appreciate it if parents could make sure that children don’t
inadvertently drop any rubbish or touch the cave paintings.
